  1. Agreement to Terms By downloading, installing, or using the Alvero mobile application ("App") or visiting our website at allvero.io ("Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Alvero. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Alvero ("we," "us," or "our").

  2. Description of Service Alvero is an AI-powered receipt scanning application that allows users to:

Scan grocery and shopping receipts using their device camera Automatically extract and categorize purchased items Track spending by category and store Monitor estimated calorie intake based on purchased food items View spending analytics and summaries Receive budget alerts and weekly spending reports (Pro plan) Export spending data (Pro plan)

The App is available on iOS and Android devices.

  1. Eligibility To use Alvero, you must:

Be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement Not be prohibited from using the service under applicable law Provide accurate and complete registration information

If you are using Alvero on behalf of a business or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

  1. Account Registration 4.1 Creating an Account You may register using your email address, Google account, or Apple ID. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated. 4.2 Account Security You are responsible for:

Maintaining the confidentiality of your password All activity that occurs under your account Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at info@allvero.io

We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account. 4.3 One Account Per User You may not create multiple accounts. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate duplicate accounts.

  1. Subscription Plans 5.1 Free Plan The Free plan includes:

Up to 10 receipt scans total Basic spending tracking 3 months of spending history Top spending categories

5.2 Pro Plan The Pro plan is available as a monthly subscription and includes:

Unlimited receipt scans Full spending history Advanced analytics CSV data export AI-powered spending insights Priority support

5.3 Pricing Subscription prices are displayed in the App and on our website at allvero.io. Prices may vary by region and are subject to change with advance notice. 5.4 Billing

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account upon purchase confirmation Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled

5.5 Cancellation You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through:

iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Alvero → Cancel Android: Google Play → Subscriptions → Alvero → Cancel

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to Pro features until the period ends. We do not offer refunds for unused portions of a subscription period, except as required by law. 5.6 Refunds All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. 5.7 Price Changes We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increase. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

  1. Acceptable Use 6.1 Permitted Use You may use Alvero solely for personal, non-commercial purposes to track your own spending and receipts. 6.2 Prohibited Conduct You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws Scan receipts or documents belonging to others without their permission Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the App Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code Impersonate any person or entity Use the App to engage in fraudulent activity Resell, sublicense, or commercialize any part of the service Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the service Circumvent any technical measures we use to provide or protect the service

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination.

  1. AI-Powered Features 7.1 AI Accuracy Alvero uses artificial intelligence to read and interpret receipt data. While we strive for accuracy, AI systems are not perfect. Receipt data extracted by our AI — including item names, prices, categories, and calorie estimates — may contain errors. You acknowledge that:

AI-extracted data should be reviewed before relying on it Calorie estimates are approximations and should not be used for medical or dietary decisions We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI-extracted data

7.2 Not Medical Advice Calorie and nutrition information provided by Alvero is for informational purposes only. It is not medical advice and should not replace guidance from qualified healthcare professionals. Always consult a doctor or registered dietitian before making significant dietary changes. 7.3 Not Financial Advice Spending analytics and insights provided by Alvero are for informational purposes only. They are not financial advice and should not replace guidance from qualified financial professionals.

  1. Intellectual Property 8.1 Our Property Alvero and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to the software, design, text, graphics, logos, and icons — are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 8.2 Your Content You retain ownership of all content you submit to Alvero, including receipt images and manually entered data ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your receipt data or spending information. 8.3 Feedback If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas about Alvero, you grant us the right to use that feedback without compensation or obligation to you.

  2. Privacy Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Alvero, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

  3. Third-Party Services Alvero integrates with third-party services including Google Firebase, RevenueCat, Resend, and Neon. Your use of these services may be subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Links to third-party websites in our App or on our Website are provided for convenience only. We do not endorse or assume responsibility for the content or practices of third-party sites.

  4. Disclaimers 11.1 "As Is" Service ALVERO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE NON-INFRINGEMENT ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF CONTENT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE SERVICE

11.2 No Guarantee of Availability We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or unforeseen technical issues.

  1. Limitation of Liability TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL ALVERO BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL DAMAGES RESULTING FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT DAMAGES RESULTING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON AI-EXTRACTED DATA

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $10 USD IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PAYMENTS. Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

  1. Indemnification You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Alvero and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the App in violation of these Terms Your User Content Your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights

  1. Termination 14.1 Termination by You You may stop using Alvero at any time and delete your account through Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. 14.2 Termination by Us We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination:

Your right to use the App immediately ceases We may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect (including Sections 8, 11, 12, 13, and 16)

14.3 Effect of Termination If your account is terminated for violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any subscription fees.

  1. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will:

Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page Notify you via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect

Your continued use of Alvero after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

  1. Governing Law and Disputes 16.1 Governing Law These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence. 16.2 Informal Resolution Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at info@allvero.io and attempt to resolve the issue informally. We will try to resolve your concern within 30 days. 16.3 Dispute Resolution If informal resolution fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, depending on applicable law in your location. For EU/UK users: Nothing in these Terms affects your right to bring claims before the courts of your country of residence or to use alternative dispute resolution mechanisms available under EU/UK law.

  2. General Provisions 17.1 Entire Agreement These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Alvero regarding the service. 17.2 Severability If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. 17.3 Waiver Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. 17.4 Assignment You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction. 17.5 Language These Terms are written in English. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail.
